What this site is
A ranked local research guide. Every company entry carries the reason for its rank, source notes, a last-reviewed date, and its listing status. The methodology is public, the money model is public, and corrections are free.
What this site is not
- Not a contractor. We don’t install, clean, or repair gutters, and we don’t take a cut of any job. Visitors contact companies directly.
- Not a lead broker. We don’t sell your contact information to contractors. The forms on this site reach our editorial team only.
- Not a pay-to-rank directory. Paid options exist, are labeled, and never touch the editorial order.
How the editorial process works
- Identify companies actively serving Indianapolis in the four core service lines.
- Verify registrations and insurance; record what was checked and when.
- Read the reputation pattern across independent platforms, with dates.
- Document service depth, warranty terms, and quoting practices.
- Rank against the six published criteria; write the reason next to the rank.
- Re-review on a rolling basis and after material changes.
Right now the guide is in its pre-launch research phase: the structure is live, and clearly labeled placeholder entries hold the slots while verification of real local companies completes. Nothing placeholder is presented as a recommendation — every such entry is labeled on the card itself.
